I argued with the fireman,
But the debate got too heated.
I debated with the gasman,
But the chap nearly exploded.
I argued with the scientist,
But it got too complicated.
I debated with the binman,
But I felt the time was wasted.
I argued with the repairman,
But he was trying to fix me.
I debated with the salesman;
The price I paid for that's costly.
I've learnt from my experience,
And I have got myself a plan,
For under no circumstances,
Will I row with the bogeyman.
