CALM

The shelf decides it won't stay up,
The books thud down to the carpet,
The glass bookend's really shattered;
It will not trouble me a bit.
I trip over in a café,
My food and drink go everywhere,
And then I slip on my spillage,
But I'll be too mellow to care.
I'm in a shop full of people,
It dawns on me I'm not dressed yet,
Shoppers and shop staff think I'm nuts;
You won't catch me getting upset.
I won't stress out, I won't explode,
I'll have no sticky, sweaty palm,
I'll be as cool as mint ice cubes;
After I've learnt how to be calm.
