AT THE DOOR

Oliver opens his front door; not because he fancies some air but because its bell had just rang. He puzzles, "What is all this?"

Vincent smiles, "It's Joe the sparrow, Lynne the penguin, John the swan, Billy the budgie, Elise and Rhys the geese, Drew the emu, Gwen the hen, Mary the canary, Carolyn the pigeon, Andrew the cuckoo and Michelle the nightingale."

"Are you mental?" frowns Oliver. "They will make a right mess of my home!"

Vincent says, "I don't know what you're getting in such a state about. After all, it was you who said bring loads of birds to your party."
