HOORAY FOR THE RSPCA!

A man put his cat in a freezer,
A woman thought she'd boil-wash hers.
Three dead cats were dumped in some bushes,
When they'd been strangled with their collars.

A dog was left in a hot car boot,
'til dehydration caused its last breath.
Pets had their throat cut and leg sawn off,
Others have been hung and kicked to death.

Animals cannot tell us with words,
If they have been hurt or are starving,
Or if they wish they would be rescued,
From the pain they're experiencing.

But if they could speak in our language,
You could bet a bunch of pet dog chews,
That they'd want their owners to be told,
"I am here to care for, not abuse."
