NO GENDER!

My bits have fallen off.
My private parts have gone.
I don't know where, but they're not there.
Just what is going on?

They were there the other day.
Or at least, I think they were.
Now my body cannot say,
Whether I am a him or her.

What makes a man a man,
Or a woman a woman, anyway?
Is it what's between your legs,
Or what goes on inside your head?

The woman with small breasts...
The man with a small 'thing'...
...Is her womanliness any less?
...Is he therefore less masculine?

It's what a person feels inside,
How they feel, what's in their mind,
That surely makes them who they are,
Not what you might physically find.

If my visual gender was stripped away,
Would it make much difference, anyway?
For whether I was a 'she' or a 'he',
At the end of the day, I'd still be me.
