UNPLEASANTNESS

You could have said you hated my hair;
I would have known I could have changed it.
You could have said you hated my nails;
I may have filed them down a bit.

You could have said you hated my dress;
I might have visited a clothes store.
But you stuck the knife in with your words;
"I'm not in love with you anymore."
