One man's pain is another man's pleasure.
One woman's work is another's leisure.
One person's boredom is another's fun.
One girl's hard walk is another's quick run.

One boy's friend is another's enemy.
Someone's meal equals one man's week's money.
Somebody's dream is another's nightmare.
One girl's clothes are another's underwear.

Thank goodness that there is diversity.
This big old world needs its variety.
If we all wanted the exact same thing,
It would run out sooner than a pub's gin.
