YOUR BED

I'm jealous of your bed,
Because you're in it all night through.
I envy your bedcovers,
For getting so close to you.
I'm jealous of your pillow,
For it feels your gorgeous head.
But rely and lie on me,
If you fancy a new bed.
I'm jealous of your bed,
However strange you think it seems.
You go to it when you're ill,
And I guess it shares your dreams.
It comforts you when you're cold,
Keeping you all snug and warm.
But feel free to exhaust me,
If your bed becomes too worn.
