ZILCH

To he,
Who shall remain nameless.
From me,
Who shall remain loveless.
For my heart lies beating,
In the palm of his hand.
And he doesn't return it,
The way love had planned.
To my heart,
That seems rendered useless.
To his attitude,
Which seems to be ruthless.
I've had enough of hoping,
That he'd understand.
Love can ask and reach out,
But it cannot command.
So I'll take back my heart,
Before it breaks fiercely,
While I can still accept,
He doesn't feel for me.
I'll turn away right now;
Not getting too upset,
That despite all my love,
Zilch would be all I'd get.
