I'm trying to find the reasons but nothing seems to fit
Because all that’s left are questions and sadness as I sit.
They say death is not a part of life, that’s plain to see
Yet now you’re gone, and we all have our fun filled memories.
It’s true, you lived you’re life, by the freedom of the road,
And you rode this storm of life on a path you chose to follow;
This road was hard and thankless, yet you faced it all the same;
But in the end the bastards, never got you set inside a frame.
And now I’d like to think that you’re in a better place than this,
Where you’ll keep on riding on a road that rocks with bliss,
So ride on, now, dear friend, on the road that has no end...
For one thing is for fucking sure, you need not worry about a bend.
Or whether petrol runs out, or bash-hats that are too tight
Or pay more bloody road tax to a government that’s just shite.
So ride on, dear friend, ride on, upon this road that is not wrong
For you can rest in peace now...
and this road you’re on is long….
For a dear loved friend… Christ knows he will be missed.
