Antonius "Biggus Dickus" Blairius: the Roman ambassador for the regions of Carthage and Samaria, spoke out today against how young inexperienced senator's, who have designs on his job, cannot simply start from inside the schools of politics and philosophy, that they have spent twenty years of study, only to expect to move into the forum without some form of understanding of the masses. 
"its like this...", He began, "...Generally speaking a job in the forum is a job for life, and many young elite generals have to know the people before moving into a life where the ordinary citizen is considered." 
Whether this was a direct attack on either Eddieus Babyious Millibandius or the PR man is hard to define, for, as always, "the man with the dickus" -as he is known by his friends- keeps himself very closed lipped on local news. It might be due to his lisp, or it could be possibly due to the fact that he was shipped off as an ambassador in case he chose to make himself emperor or Rome. 
When Tired Hacked-tobitsus pointed out that his own rise through the rank and file was filled with murder and infighting, from inside a political school, he became very cool. 
"well, you could say that, I couldn't possibly comment without sending you to the arena." His cold hard smile, sank a thousand ships.
