Fig

It's a very private moment this
when gorging on a fig.
To start with the choice is
there between the quick slip,
then from slip the slaver
To then gulp seed deep.
That is good... if needed...
But I prefer to take my time.
It's with my careful fingers
I peel back the soft folds
outer skin
and gaze upon the wet damp
flesh
then with my teeth
I gently nip and tease
that wet sweet fruit
so I can eke out the moment
as long as is pleased.
