Freshwater bay

The bitter east wind
Twists the gnarled stunted trees,
Shaping their limbs
with its dexterous ease.
while below at my feet
the sea rages still
blown by time and by passion,
by design of a mighty will.
While I shut my eyes tight,
and long for you here,
To just catch a glimpse
Of the ghost of tear…
But time like our lives
seems to slip and to smash
Then float far way
Like the storm tossed green seas
of Freshwater bay.
I miss you so much…
The pain never ends
I thought that you
were my forever friend.
I thought that meant here,
I thought that meant now
But now is all gone into ashes
And leaves me riddled with doubt.
I long to reach out,I beg you to hear,
But my words fade way
as if thrown by a spear
Like the sea hits the rocks ,
of freshwater bay
A son and a mother
A mother and a son,
A father a daughter
The old and the young,
The wars and the cost
Oh the terror and pain
in the end simply turns to sea
Hitting rocks on freshwater bay.
For moments they pass and we all slip away…
Like the sea on the rocks...
Of Freshwater bay.
