Her vibrant shadow
Curls her ghost
amid these damp
slow rusted hills.
where,
Gnarled hands
twigged and aged
stretch out,
to stroke the squalls
whose own pale echo
slowly throbs between
these now seen
cracked fingers
of the trees.
