Ode to Venus
i
Your comely light shines bright -aright-
To ring a vibrant resonant;
Forth from my deepest bleakest self;
By wings that sing with an ardent
Need, that bleeds’ with a deep desire.
ii
In your sublime celestial
I rest; teething upon your milking breast;
As you allow my savant hands,
Into your buried bedded dampness.
To then digest your sacred, undressed
nest.
iii
Slowly I revive refined and ready;
For from this sacred sable place,
Where bonded seeded souls do rest,
I’ve spent my time entwined, enriched
By your plum pleasured deep caress.
iv

I feel locked and lost in shock!
For, it is not your sacred ivy eye
I spy, as slowly my sloth leaves.
It is another….
v epilogue.
And as we meet along the time aged street,
Our eyes they never nestle together.
Our words wash wanly from us;
Each with whiffs of whispers hanging;
Wrestling with a murmur of a ready hope,
That the promises we weakly made,
Could- just perhaps- easily be broke..?
