She takes the gun out from her father's desk drawer. Checks to make sure bullets are intact. All there. Good. She retraces her footsteps back to her room and shuts the door, barricading herself from the reasons of her insanity. She looks out the window, but catches a glimpse of herself in the broken mirror. Eyes swollen, knuckles bloody from the fragments of glass. She trips on her stuffed bear on her way to the window. Fuck. Her shins scrape on the chair. Fuck again. There's blood everywhere in her room. It looks as if jesus had been crucified here. She sinks to the ground and rocks herself to sleep.
She awakens to the sound of footsteps outside her bedroom giggles. More footsteps. Her father is back fromt the whorehouse with a new prize. Door slams shut. He'll be busy for another hour. She tries to get up but she cant. Shes trapped. Her legs are too bloody. Help me she cries. No one will ever answer. She spots the gun lying innocently in the corner. It is gleaming and looks most curiously attractive to her. Inch by inch, she pulls herself closer to the desired weapon. Ironically, it is her best friend. Lifting it,she aims at head and pulls the trigger. Nothing. Fuck its jammed. She pulls her weight up with help from her bed, and wonders if her dad ever fucked anyone on it. Most probably. Doesn't bother her, shes used to it. She tip toes to the mirror and beats the crap out of it, "I fucking hate you she screams. Bits fly off and hit her in the face, like a snowfall of 10 thousand knives. By now, her whole face is red. Red, my favorite color. She giggles contently. Picking up a piece of glass, she plunges it deep into her chest. Lights off.
In the morning, her father walks into the room, sees his blood stained daughter lying dead upon the floor, fragments of glass scattered all about. He picks up a tattered piece of paper, "I fucking hate you it reads. He spies his gun, adorned with little red finger marks, opens his mouth, lets the nozzle in place, and pulls.
