196 AM was the hottest summer in the history of Merth. It was so hot that I found himself cooling off in the attic of my father's spaceship. And that's when it all began. I was sitting in the attic, reading a few diaries that belonged to my father. His father used to be a space pilot, fighting for the whole planet of Merth. He fought against the Creebs, the Lumpa-Lumpas, and also the most evil alien race of them all, the dreaded Lonwoks.
I was sitting, reading, and generally enjoying myself, when I heard voices coming from the front of the ship.
"Okay, Dibs, we've found the perfect ship, now we have to take the two million dreckels to HIM before the suns hit the wop."
"Okay, sure thing Felps."
I felt scared. I got up and scrambled to get out of the ship before it took off and the strangers saw me.
Before I even got to the door, it opened, and a tall guy with a basin haircut and a big sack entered the attic.
He looked at me, and suddenly an evil grin split across his ugly face.
"Well, well, what have we here?"
He ambled towards me. "What's your name, Sonny?"
"My name's Mer and you're stealing my father's spaceship." I answered.
"Call it borrowinbg without asking. We'll give it back when we're done."
I felt there was no point arguing with him, he reminded me too much of the alien gangsters who worked in the club down the road.
"Can you let me off, pleae?" I asked.
"Sorry, Mer, We've already taken off. We're currently 20 miles outside the atmosphere of Merth."
I crossed my arms. It looked like a long ride.
Find out what happens to Mer next in Chapter Two.
