MERTH PART ONE - MER'S DAY OUT CHAPTER TWO

We finally stopped for gas after two hours of travelling. Felps and the other guy told me to stay in the ship while they also stoped for lunch. Hearing the word 'lunch' made me realize that I hadn't eaten for about three hours and now I was starving.
"Can't I come with you? I'm starving."
"No," replied Felps. "We've kidnapped you. And as kidnappers, it is our job to be mean to you."
"If you don't give me lunch, I'll call the Galactic Rangers."
Felps and his friend looked at each other. Then they started laughing.
"Oh, what with?" Felps' mate said. "You haven't got a phone."
I sighed. I was hoping that would scare them, but it seemed like these guys were not the types to be scared that easily.
Felps gave me a meaningful look. "Okay," he said. "Just this once. But don't go thinking you're getting it easy, kid. This is a one-off!"
"Yippie!" I screamed.
"And," continued Felps' mate. "You're to call us Uncle Fez and Uncle Bilbo while we're in the cafe. We don't want no-one thinking you're a kidnappee!"
"Ah, yes, good point, my good fellow." said Felps. "Now, what do you like to eat? Pizza with cheese? Possibly a frothy chocolate-flavoured milkshake?"
I grinned to myself. It looked like it would be an easy ride, after all...
