The wolf no more

Alone,
with the icy blast on my back
is how i used to wonder the world.
The cold wind
the only voice i'd hear.
No sense of place,
no where to go.
Then a few years ago,
along came a new smell,
not like anything i'd smelt before.
And before long a figure
came creeping out of the blizzard,
melting the cold of my world.
She had come,
the sunlight to my storm,
the warmth to my chill,
the direction of my journey.
My woman to make me a wolf no more.

I enjoyed this. Line 3 do you
I enjoyed this. Line 3 do you probably mean 'wander' rather than 'wonder'? Rhiannon
