Chapter 1
Imagine music. Well I did. It filled my ears with a steady beat when I saw him. His shoulder brushed against mine as my heart came to a stop as did time. Need. I needed him to love me. He was my everything.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA..." Marissa blurted out. "What?" I said a little irritated at her unexpected reaction. "Haha it's just...you don't even know his name." She said. Thats when I pointed over to the small freshman group he was standing in and asked her to provide me with one. "Daniel Richmond." She said. "He's a perfect freshman though, and it will never happen." I gapped at him sorta creepy. Guess I didn't know HOW creepy it was though, because I later learned from Marissa that my mouth was wide open and she was intensively snapping in my face.
Not that I could sleep anyway, but that night I couldn't get that beautiful straight dark brown hair out of mind. His built body, and tall tan figure. As well as the fact that he was super tall, and the quarterback of the freshman Lions football team.
The next morning I heard the loud scream that I awoke to every morning I guess. "Tawni Woodward! Get your butt out of bed and get downstairs for breakfast!" "Coming!" I lamely replied struggling to hop out of bed. I honestly think that the only thing getting me up that morning was the thought of seeing Daniel again in the hallway.
Look, not to say I was stalking anyone, but he WAS the only reason I walked down the ninth grade hallway between every other period. The only thing keeping me away from going down again was when we locked eyes, and I actually got the courage to talk to him.
