See my love what we have found

See my love what we have found
A word of wisdom on this touchy ground
And see how it sparkles in the mud of its life
you can trust and call it , turn the dark into light
and the world spins around us
try how we might,
there is a gentle coming in the sweat of our night
Caress my love hand round and round
Hold a fountain as we turn the sound
and see how it splashes as it catches the light
you can hold it and mould it in the clay of your mind
it will sew us together in our rhythm of this time
and our memories flood at what is no longer mine
Die my love and make no sound
A cry of loss on this hallowed mound
the little death is to sleep alone
when all around us roll not alone
but as one with a lover calling into the night
with the sweetness that confused us with their endless delight
saying to each other linked always with a trite,
“see my love what we have found”
