This Is My Golden Girl
Her stunning looks simply took my breath away
The flaxen angel of Nottingham.
She soared across the ether
To grace my home with awesome beauty.
I don't believe in visions.
Yet still she came in majesty
And like cupids arrow
Pierced my heart with desire.
I may never get the chance
To twirl her golden locks,
Or cause her spine to tingle
With just one whispered kiss.
She may never lead me
To her carnal cave.
But I have stood at her Nubian gates
And stared, dreamed of lust unconfined.
I fear that self-control
Has for me dispersed.
As her radiance shone upon me,
My independent bubble burst.
She only had to summon
And I would run to be beside her
For better, or for worse.
