When I shut my eyes and focus on you, you are here

As tiredness seduces welcome slumber, you are here

You know my vulnerability, my hopes and inner dreams

You know how much I miss you and desire you, it seems

You always come to me when you need to, just to let me know

and constantly remind me why I need, to need you so

and why, when I awoke today, I felt you were so near

Perhaps, come tomorrow, come tomorrow, you will be here…
