This piece is Part 1 of 2 parts representing two immensely powerful & opposing human emotions. The chosen emotion for Part 1 is Happiness & is expressed in the poetry style of Rictameter verse. The following poem is called ‘Origami’. Collectively the parts are written to illustrate the conflict & the calm that exists between the emotions

in Origami

One paper heart

beating to time’s consequence

Folding paper dreams to create one

single hope dwelled upon

Forming the wonderment

Excellent poem. I started writing about origami but couldn't finish it. The folds of the poem were too tricky. You have mastered it so accurately.

The beat of your heart is the mellifluent rhythm to my soul.

Cheers for that compliment, it's actually quite easy once you've practiced having to work with a fixed structure & point, which in a lot of respects you must do in the art of paperfolding also. Glad you enjoyed it.

Love the imagery here, regarding the origami.  The picture, too, is mesmerising.  Nice work.
