The Trouble With Boys

The trouble with boys, some mothers say
Is that they only want, one thing
Well yes, to some degree that could be true
But most guys say, it’s not wanting to, buy the ring
Guys find it really frustrating they say
That so many mothers have said
“Believe me, boys only want one thing
Now girl - get that through your head!”
The right girls are hard to find, slow boys say
It’s hard to convert them, from such facts of life
Yet nobody bothered to ask, exactly what boys wanted
If they’re simply not seeking a wife
The trouble with girls, it’s been decided
Is that they never say, exactly what they need
Boys wish that their own mothers would explain
Exactly why, girls seem such a difficult breed
Imagine if boys could realize how special love is
They might even understand girls and their parts
They may even try, so much harder to satisfy
And just imagine, if they never broke girl’s hearts
The trouble with boys, most smart girls say
Is that it takes far more, than just one thing
To get their boy to know the exact moment when
To say, “I love you” and to show it with a ring…

it's very well explained, and
it's very well explained, and in normal speech too. I think you could improve it by adding a little spice by half mentioning issues around the general theme of the poem. So that the reader hooks on that, and pulls the poem into their own experiences.
maisie Guess what? I'm still alive!
