A Silver Screen Face

I have watched you on screen

More than a thousand times

Yet, you never fail to amaze me

With those moves,

With that look,

And, that rare smile

I know you are just an illusion

An illusion that I love to fantasize about

You are not a reality to me

Yet, I touch you in my dreams

You are just an image in my mind

Yet, I don’t let that image fade away

I talk to you in my mind

And, make you walk with me.

You exist there just for me.

You are not a reality to me

Yet, I find peace in that illusion.
