Already Forgiven

Does a tree forgive an axe that hews

if the wood is used to make church pews

just observe that tree and you shall see

what will be already be

The land is cleared the seeds are planted

the suns rays are no longer slanted

is this planned by God's own hand 

if it was already was

Now we are scarred,maimed at war

the bells are ringing on another churches shore

in your heart is forgiveness so hard

whatever it is already is
