Human river

Nothing lives in a human river

but death reigns supreme

where once nature ran its course

now machines flow like multi-colored particle beams

death lies along its curbed banks

stinking,rotting dishonoured 

while humans ignorantly plod on by

aware only of selfish purpose

caught up in an unnatural flow

dark and empty or light and full

told when to stop and when to go

puppets in a revolving yoyo

when shall the giant waters return

to wash clean this human river
