animals slain

crossings once fair
dollars and sense

native peoples
scattered and torn

the wolves are abundant
China and more
like deer we are running
wide eyed and scared
from the real world
cast in the moonlight
yet hidden behind doors
agendas that care not
of wide open sores
A free meal
a plate for the greedy
