“Y’know that I always miss you, big sis” Ephiri said to Azur while smiling.
“Go do what I told you child, we have matters to attend to” Suxuq the eldest of the village told Ephiri who answered with an ‘understood’ and walked away in direction to the school.
Ephiri was a couple of meters away turned to Azur and... “I'm doing Dragolisk for dinner, is Aqua coming?”
Azur walking by the side of Suxuq simply shoo her away with her left arm as a signal that she will look into that later, now she was busy.
Whispering to Azur, Suxuq asked questions “Was it the Lion from the North? Was it that strong? Did it hurt any of you?” And many others, Azur answered them all “it matched the description, it was very clever, none of us were harmed but it did give us a race”
“So, what are we going to do now, Village Chief?” Suxuq said almost in a mocking tone.
“Since that thing is way too smart to merely ambush it and too strong to fight head on...” murmured to herself “then our only option is to send a request to the Nest... I'm sure they’ll know better” convinced she told to her elder teacher “as long as it’s attacks are not centered on us or we get too close we can manage until we get an answer from the Nest”
“Are you sure of it?” questioned Suxuq.
“What answer would you give them?” an annoyed Azur questioned back “I still don’t understand why you always contradict me, yeah, I wasn’t the most educated one of your students but... you know what, I'm going to write the letter at the Hall, just send me Aquila when you stop complaining, will you?” the completely annoyed Azur told the frail elder that didn’t reach her waist who was shivering a little.
“Y-yes, I will chief” scared, the elder Krygnym walked away.
“*sigh*, I'm sorry, but I’m not going to justify myself more than I’ve already done” the still annoyed Azur said to Suxuq.
“I know, I'm the one that should be sorry chil- Chief, is just the age, Y’know I'm trying to make sure everything is okay for when I’m not here anymore that sometimes I forget who have done what” the broken voice of Suxuq confessed.
“Go” with her back facing the elder female, Azur did not turn around to talk to the elder Krygnym.
“I believe Aquila is already waiting for you at the hall, tell him that Ephiri need his help while you write the request...” Said Suxuq before leaving for the school.
On her way to the hall she meets with Aquila, a verdant skinned young boy, known for his incredible speed and endurance on land, the village messenger and pursuer on the hunts.
“Chieftess, Lady Suxuq told me you were looking for me”.
“I was, however it's still too soon, go help Ephiri at the school”
“Understood Chief, but before I go a couple of things, Rekzot said that he had news from the forest and that I'm glad you are back”
“Got it, now go” in a harsher tone Azur ordered to the Verdant young messenger who ran as fast as the wind.
“I guess Rek’s report may be related to the Dragolisk that Ephi mentioned” thought to herself while the hall was entering sight. Greeting many villagers and lecturing a couple of children along
the way.
An impressive work of architecture made by some of the most skilled carpenters of the tribe a couple of decades ago still standing at the heart of the village, its pillars were almost completely vertical unlike the houses and huts that were conical most to all of the time.
At the front door, a massive 2.3m(7.6f) male with a dark green skin that had purple of the tip of his claws both on his hands and feet wielding a halberd stood in front of Azur and opened the door for her just as he greeted her “Greetings Chief I take it the hunt went well as expected”
Azur just walked inside looking quite annoyed but managed to answer to her general.
“Yes, it went well, but I could have been better... I’ll fill you in details later I have a letter to write and Aquila said you had something to report?”
“Indeed, I take for granted that the Young Lady already told you about the Dragolisk”
“That she did”
“Well the details lie that it was a parent”
“What? What was a parent doing this far from their caves?”
“We believe that a group of Earthlings took hold of the mountains, I have sent a shadow to scout ahead for us”
“*sigh* and its hatchlings?”
“Lady Suxuq is taking care of them”
“I want the shadow to report personally what he found in the caves”
“Then I will take my leave chief, is there someone that I should call here to assist you?”
“Not really, just tell Aqua to meet Ephi at the school”
“On my way” the really strong looking green Kryg left the hall in a hurry.
Rekzot General of Alexandrite, sixty-two y/o, 2.3m(7.6f), the only other Krygnym on the village that can put a decent fight against Azur, but he does not take it as a compliment though, since he triples her age, but does recognize her as a formidable leader. This behemoth of a Kryg has a Dark Green skin and purple toned claws with an almost black dark-green torso. While he is gigantic and very scary looking, he is very kind to the kids that want to become soldiers, Brey and the Verdant Runner included, that is until they actually are enlisted, then he made them into some of the strongest males by mere training and if any somehow were to find it’s calling, he will support them on their decision. Father to three daughters, Yldres a 36y/o traveler and merchant, Xagaxa a 20y/o cook apprentice of Ephiri and a really pale 10 years old that wants to become a hunter, Nammi.
Brey The Heavyweight Soldier, twenty-six years old, 2.1m(6.9f) tall, the Younger Dark Blue brother of Mavlov has become of the strongest and fastest Krygnym on water ever known. Being able to carry three other comrades while still being as swift as ever he takes for himself the best Swimmer and he would take the best Fisher but he was barely beaten by Azur and Tumul on their last competition, which made him really mad but accepted his defeat as long as they had this competition at least once a year. He had left that competitive side of him a while ago when he almost lost Mavlov and a leg, now as a reminder he carries a scar that crosses from his right ear to the left cheek and a bundle of many small ones on his left forearm.
The Dragolisks a Reptile creature that lives on caves near forests, the smallest adult to date is about 2m (6.5f) tall and 4m (13f) long, Big head, strong front legs and even stronger back legs these dinosaur-like creatures are capable of spitting at very large quantities and speed a corrosive poison that only damages muscles for a reason out of this world. Egg laying species, the females are as dangerous as the males except on mating season were the female is trying to fill herself to not leave the eggs alone during incubation and the father protects the place where the eggs are while the mother is out. The only way to determine whether a Dragolisk is a male or a female is by the color of its mouth, male ones are a far Darker Red than females.
