The Beginning.

Well, howz about that? Who’d have thunk it? “What?” I hear you ask, with that wry, expectant, half excited smile on your face. Well, I’m gonna tell you right now. This second. In this moment. You’re gonna know, and you’re gonna be amazed. AMAZED I tell you. What I’m about to tell you is going to. Blow.Your.Mind.

Well, I suppose I got to start at the top haven’t I. also known as “the beginning”, “the apex”, or the “vanguard,” if you will. Stories have got to start somewhere right? (Unless it’s a prequel, then I suppose the story can start in the future, which doesn’t make sense, but then again time travel is not supposed to apparently, so says Einstein, or someone like that… but I digress). Back to the point at hand. Where was I? Oh yeah… I was going to tell you a story. A story of magic, of splendour, of amazement! (Wait, I think I used that word already). Okay, I’ve got myself together. Where was I? The story. Well, here it is. It all started at the beginning, which is in the past. But I suppose it only makes sense to tell it in the present. I think. Right. So it all started with 2016 turning into 2017; that’s when the amazing stuff happened. Well, not at that exact moment. That would be silly, because a moment could be anything couldn’t it? A second. A minute. A million years. So to say “moment” doesn’t help anyone does it. DUH! It is now 2017. Well not now, right now it’s still 2016 in England. Although I think in Australia it’s almost 2017 isn’t it? No.. that’s not right. Hawaii or somewhere like that has 2017 first? Or is the left side of the map, so Alaska? Wait, how is it even decided? Why is the map the map, and why should the left side (or the right) be 2017 first? Whilst we’re on the subject, why is Chinese New Year in January? It’s all so very confusing.

So back to why 2017 was great. It all started at the beginning, and that would be January 1st (see above for more [or less] clarification) and ended on December 31st. Within this arbitrarily chosen unit of time all the good stuff happened. What good stuff? I hear you ask, well I’m going to tell you. It all started at the beginning…

Cute and topical (it's 2017 within the hour here in New Zealand) and the story has a great voice.  A little bit erratic though, and I wasn't quite sure if I left with the take home message.

Good build up Clark including your endearing digressions. And the ending is f***king awesome. Perhaps I am exaggerating a wee bit about the end. You should know kiddo. Exaggeration ...You have got Zillions of experience. Happy New Yearsmiley
