Half Way Holiday Blues (Day 4)

Half way through the holiday already!
I always get the half way holiday blues.
How do we get more Euros?
Will my wife’s cold get better?
Or will she need a hospital visit?
(I doubt it – but God forbid!)
We met an interesting couple last night, elderly now, but with previous business interests on the island, so they are regular visitors. It is good to have a good long chat about things with people. They are particularly interested in geneology – fascinating, although I feel for myself, if I find much out I will soon forget it, and who would follow me to carry this information into the future?
Puts me to shame about my life.
What am I managing to achieve in life?
Few want to read what I write.
Careers are all about doing what other people, namely employers, want you to do with your life.
Career options are not generally very exciting or very interesting.
That is the way I feel.
We are lucky to be able to go on occasional holidays and spend a bit of time doing our hobbies.
Most skills are there to be acquired, but not used.
They say we are capable of anything if we put our minds to it.
