Pied Piper, Nigel Farage,

Mirage Man – now you see him, now you don’t!

Where will we see him next?

Will he really be there?

Or is he just an illusion?

Leading the children of the revolution against Europe,

Into the gates of transatlantic capitalism,

Unprotected in the dark forests of dog eat dog profitmaking.

This was just a few thoughts, written on 26/5/19, just after the European elections.

I wish he was an illusion.  He is indeed a delusion.  A shameless, money-grabbing, exploitative pot load of horse manure. Nothing to do with whether you're pro or anti Brexit - people like Farage don't care for your principles, they just want to jump on a passing bandwagon and line their pockets.   I wish I could say that one day he'll get his comeuppance but, sadly, I think he and others like him are far too well insulated from the real world for anything to touch them.

Thanks for your thoughts airyfairy. I do not feel I really know him or can make a proper judgement, but these were my immediate thoughts after the election and the reports in the media. I don't feel I trust him, but he certainly has a self confidence and power which is amazing.
