C: Something right wing

Something right wing, reactionary and anti-feminist
I spent a life in higher Ed
No money and no pension plan
I worked until I had degrees
To end up in a backwater
The town from which I started out
At eighteen fresh faced full of hope
And all my life in front of me
But now I see for what it is
The con of University
You sacrifice your younger days
Pushed on by parents aspirant
Who tell you this is what you want
When all the time you see your peers
Who left at sixteen with it seemed
No prospects going on to bright
Careers and in the interim
Earning a weekly wage
Unhampered by lack of degrees
With money in youth to support
The scabby habit young women
Still have of wanting their drinks bought
All night in return for a shag
Despite them now taking our jobs
So let's sound a death knell for it
A requiem for higher Ed
Let's really knock it on the head
Let Aspirations be higher
In the middle class families
Prioritise what you wish for
Your kids what use are diplomas
When you feel like you failed instead
Ambitions now should be more like
Good wage good sex life for your kids
Against the tide of Legislation
That represses the modern young
Hetero male and hands the reins
Of liberty to those we once
Oppressed who seem to seek redress.
