Long walks           on short days

Brief smile            on a long face

Not enough          onomatopoeia in my life

 

Large bag            of small toys

Long wait             for brief joys

Not enough          onomatopoeia in my life.

 

I want to

Sizzle, squelch, shout when the kids go out

Bang, crash, boom in the best bed room

Let’s not ration our passion or put our love on a diet.

Do you think we might try it?

 

Chocolate body paint – unused

Self esteem – well bruised

Not enough          onomatopoeia in my life

 

Sweet laugh         in a sour room

Soft touch            breaks the gloom

Not enough          onomatopoeia in my life

 

I want to

Thanks for taking the time to read this and your kind coments. These are, indeed, lyrics for a song. Hopefully I'll be setting them today and tomorrow. It's part of the 'A song A week' Challenge.

I've not managed a song a week but it helps to keep me focussed.
