Most people (except the media and their favourite experts) seem to have accepted that the pandemic has finally given way to the endemic. For this reason, vaccine companies are already gearing up for the future. Focus has shifted to countries still wrestling with Alpha/Delta Covid, and research into 'super' wide spectrum vaccines has begun. Further waves of weak Covid are expected (no doubt with accompanying exhortations to boost existing vaccine cover), and sinister predictions about future mega viruses are beginning to appear.
My conclusions?
1) Take out shares in vaccine companies!!
2) Try not to think about the effect these developments may have on our natural immune systems, and the effect they may have on stimulating stronger virus mutations.
Not likely?
Well, it's already happening with antibiotics....

I liked this a lot (not like that!)
That's another way of thinking about it, there is already a crisis with bacteria, with antibiotics and other medicines becoming ineffective for treatment.
Other germs and bacteria are becoming more and more resistant with mutations for instance hospital germs. Many of the medicines have become essentially useless and obsolete. Apparently because of reckless prescription.
So who knows? I believe virus reproduction is very fast. Probably faster than bacteria. How fast maybe? Scary.
