Now we have another situation

from the not so whiter than White

House, guaranteed to create a sensation.

 

Many proverbs can be directed there

Like: “the bigger they are the harder they fall.”

But the best one’s muttered behind the Mexican wall.

I know you've put the translation in the teaser but that doesn't show up if you just click on the poem. Could you add it underneath perhaps ?  I like the poem - just when you think things couldn't be more surreal eh?

It all gets curiouser and curiouser.  Now we all believe shedloads of impossible things before lunch.  I shall take comfort from that proverb!
