Anyone for belly dancing?

Gwendoline Cousins I took up Arabian dancing in 1984 and was taught at the Pineapple Studio London and I attended for approximately for one year. After a break I resumed dancing at a college of further education in Northampton. The teacher had to leave and I continued with an Egyptian teacher and this took approximately five years.

After general dissatisfaction I answered an advertisement for an Arabian dance teacher with the adult education in Raunds. I started teaching in Finedon in September 1992. I have been teaching there ever since and start my eleventh year this September 2003.
I taught briefly for adult education in Earls Barton but problems arose there so cut this course short by mutual consent.
Age Concern I have also given a short teaching course at Raunds School for Age Concern and I also give periodical solo demonstrations and workshops for various groups including cancer care, arthritis and age concern at Northampton, Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough. I have organised a group of girls to perform at Daventry, Irthlingborough, Woodford, Finedon and Polebrook
all for various charities.
