Oh God, I Love You

You picked me up like the leaves in the wind
The leaves never asked for it, really
But they've got nothing else going on
You fell into me, like the snow on the ground
Freezing me in your embrace
But the ground doesn't mind
Atleast it has someone next to it
Each time we kiss I know I'm a little closer to death
And everytime I exhale the world slows down
I was only twelve when we met
After school, behind the playground
You haven't left me since
Even though I've tried to leave you a couple of times
All the long car rides
You always insisted the windows were down
Even on those fridgid nights
My car's broken now
Still we find a way to be with each other
Cause I get irritated after just a couple hours without you
Pacing the halls and talking to myself
Just your smell can intoxicate me
Entering my nostrils and filling my heart
And although my mom will never approve of you
I know that you will never leave my side
Until I'm, like, thirty and want to have a family. Then it's fucking over
