A Dream in my Pocket

There’s a dream in my pocket,

a wish in my wallet,

ambition in my attaché case:

how can I fail?

My fellow-travellers and I

await the no-platformed train,

listen to the announcement robot

trained by ChatGPT.

The tech tumours come alive

in our ears, we apologise

to gatekeeper gorgons

for our at-best-late arrival.

There are dreams in my pocket

and wishes in my wallet,

now my ambitious attaché case

is thrown onto the rails.
