I've been watching you for a while

Glimpsing you around town decked in your own style

You seem to float and you're so full of grace

You're truly beautiful especially with a smile on your face

 

Seeing you makes me full so full of joy

I have to talk to you, come up with some kind of ploy

As I don't know when it happened or how

But I am completely in love with you now

 

I told you today I don't know why

Though you can't blame me it's not like I didn't try

I gave you flowers, chocolate and wine

But you glared at me and said you would never be mine

 

That tore me up more than I could ever say

And for a while I was filled with pain and dismay

But you're pretending and you're feelings for me have grew

You're playing hard to get and you really love me too

I even make sure the rope on your wrists isn't bound too tight

You still say you don't love me but I promise that will come with time

Yet whenever I tell you this you look at me like I'm slime

'Why are you pretending? Please don't be like this'

I beg as I lean forward to give you a kiss

 

To my shock and dismay you try to shrink from my touch

'You love me, what's wrong? A kiss isn't asking for much'

And then I see pure hatred and loathing in your eyes

I can't believe you led me on and fed me all your lies

And when I look at you I can't help but give a sad smile

I can't believe all the time I wasted pining over you

I can't believe I thought you're love for me was true

 

Yet it's all over now and you left me a few minutes ago

But it was me and not you that dealt the final blow

When I saw your hatred for me I sort of lost control

I felt a white hot anger burning deep inside my soul

 

Before I could think my hands were around your neck

I crushed your bones to dust and left you a pale and bruised wreck

Now you're lay silent and still on the floor

It's sad that our love is now and forever no more

 

But now I see you never meant that much to me

It's funny how I can finally see

You're not as beautiful as I first thought

And all of this seems to have been for nought
