Does it really matter at all?
Do you care what I put on these pages
If I rise or if I fall?

Are the words like a candle?
In a puff will they be gone?
Nothing in your memory
No words left to reflect on

Maybe there's no deeper meaning
No emotion, no soul
Is such a thing a poem?
Does such a thing count at all?
