A Strange Use of Colour

Imagine if you could drink any shade or colour

With no worry as to how it could affect your insides and pallor

The colour would change you and how you feel inside

Depending on what you drink it could make you happy or want to hide

You could drink the colour red, become one of many feelings;

Angry, passionate or in love; whichever is appealing

Or maybe you could drink blue, let it fully envelope you

 You could be ridiculously sad or pleasingly calm, whatever you decide to do

Maybe over time colours would suppress everything in the brain

And we would need to drink something bright just to feel again

The darker the colour the stronger the emotion

However (and unfortunately) this is only a whimsical notion.
