Testosterone Touch Paper

 

Take a fallen goldilocks.

Put in a grizzly Russian Bear.

Add bloated self-importance

And slowly stir.

 

Don’t forget the hatred!

Add self-inflated egos,

A pinch of righteous zeal

And slowly stir.

 

Two pathetic clowns

In a global circus that’s

About as funny

As bleeding piles.

 

Both have itchy fingers;

An itch they want to scratch.

From their faded realities

They long ceased to care,

 

Atomic toys to play with.

Ticking, ticking,

Playing chicken.

Who’ll break the stare?

Testosterone touch paper

Ready to be lit.

With Teresa May running the UK and, if Hilary Clinton becomes president I don't think you can blame testosterone if everything goes wrong. In Scotland where I live we've got two women running everything, SNP's Nicola Sturgeon and the Tory Ruth Davidson and then theres Angela Merkel running the second most powerful country in Europe after Russia. The 'monstrous regiment' of women are taking over and soon it will be oestrogen that lights the touch paper.

Absolutely true, but as a bloke I wanted to have a 'pop' at Putin and Trump.  I trust Merkel and to some degree Sturgeon.  I genuinely believe more women should be in positions of power...especially when the blokes seem to have itchy trigger fingers.  Maybe my female counterpart wherever she is can write the oestrogen version...

Food for thought indeed. After Bush and Blair (War Criminals/Liars/Murderers) Maybe a world run by women will have more stability.  Putin could be a stumbling block.  The saying Man is his own worst enemy seems oh so true.
