Seven shades of us

Each of us are prideful creatures
This does not make us sinners
That is hubris of the grandest scale
To find satisfaction in our actions
Take pleasure in a task well done
These things are not evil,
They are human
Sloth has to be the laziest excuse of sin
Must we always be in a constant state of exertion
Thous grass has grown to high
What of our day of rest
Lust does sound unpleasant
Perhaps we should all go blind
Or we can stop exercising
Just indulge in gluttony
Eat desire away
Envy can be a strong motivator
Can that not be used for good
As far as greed goes,
It is our nature
Anyone who has known true hunger,
Can easily understand greed
The desire for more
In some of you,
These words might inspire wrath
That is not my intent
I am just trying to say,
Can not all tools be used as weapons,
In the hands of the wicked
