His Highness the King has lost his head,

A club to the skull and the Queen is found dead.

A diamond-clad dagger is stuck in Jack's chest,

His blood flows in spades from an unwanted guest.

Come early morning when kingdom awakes,

In the court they will notice the ultimate jape.

The Joker lies still with a heart full of sin,

Dead on the floor with a guilt-ridden grin.
