One day I went out walking.
There was sleep in my eye
and nothing better to do.
My reflection on the spoon, contorted.
I thought,
“What did I do with all of those dreams?”
One day I went out walking.
I woke up with the sun
Stinging names on my back.
Gossip fell from the trees, escorted
By the
Calls of the birds, in their unconscious streams.
One day I went out walking.
In the lifeless streets I
Knew nobody could see,
Because nobody was there, escorted
By my
Rattling skull, like a faulty machine.
One day I went out walking.
The soles of my feet were
The only soles left, when
My head kissed the ground, aborted.
I’d gone
Walking alone to the end, so it seems.
