The Three Gardens. Part Two.

Tony was not impressed with the garden on the right. He opened his mouth to say something, but he didn’t.
Now that we had a fabulous lawn our cat or cats had a field day! Cat poo suddenly appeared. It was awful. We have five cats, and now I had declared war on beating the poo on the lawn. My neighbours too had problems with cat poo on his new lawn, the bottom part of the lower part of his garden, half of it was concrete and the other half was a lawn. He said to me, “There is a ginger cat on his right, his neighbour, their cat was in my garden.” So, I didn’t feel too bad. I had seen one of my cats doing it in my garden and another of our cats in the rocky, mess of the garden on my left. I had asked Tony when he was off sick, “Do you have any suggestions of what I can put on the grass that is safe to stop the cats?” Tony said, “Limes also white pepper.” I told him, “I will buy both.” I went and bought two bags of limes and two large packs of white pepper and put them all over the garden, Tony did want me to pick up the poo first, but I wasn’t going to do that! The struggle was real and for my poor neighbours too. My Daughter Meghan and I Googled what else was on the internet and we saw sensors that sprayed water as the offending cat came near, that seem like the best thing. But for now, I’d see if the limes and white pepper would do the job. It didn’t.
Tony did mention, “All my other Customers have asked him the same question, ‘How do I stop cats soiling in my garden?’” Then while walking in my large garden I thought, If I was a cat, what would I not be able to resist? And then in a flash it came to me. A cat would love a large wooden box with soft soil in, like a large cat litter but outside! So, I mentioned it to Tony, he said, “That’s a great idea.” We looked around the garden for the best place, as that was just as important, and we decided on a quite secluded spot. Tony said, “I will make if with very strong thick wood, one foot deep and it would be three feet by two feet.” He said, “I can make it for £90,” I said, “Great.”
He made it, bought the soil and put it in, and we checked it daily for signs of cat poo. We could see it had been disturbed but couldn’t see any poo, maybe they had buried it? But after it was put in the garden, we never saw one poo again. I showed my neighbour on the right, and I said, “Maybe it will stop the cats going over to you?” He replied, “No, there is still poo on our new lawn, every day.” That did sadden me, for they have small children.
About a week had past and after Tony had gone home, I was taking my usual before and after photos of the progress of the garden and was showing my Daughter, but as she stepped outside, she put her fingers in her ears and said, in a semi shout, “Can you hear that?” I said, “Hear what?” She said, with her fingers still in her ear, “That very loud noise!” I said to Meghan, “I can’t hear anything,” She was shocked and said, “You can’t hear that?” I said, “No, all I can hear is next door’s kids and their Mum, (on my right) it was too uncomfortable for her, and she said, “Let’s go back inside.”
Inside the Lounge Meghan said, “I thought there was something wrong with my laptop or mobile for about ten days ago I could hear a high pitch noise when I was in my bedroom and sometimes in the lounge, but I didn’t know what it is, but now I’ve been in the garden I know what it is, it’s a cat deterrent.” Then I remembered we had also looked at those when we had looked on the internet. The noise could only be heard by cats and young children! Meghan said, “If I can hear it so loud this far away, it must be damaging to the kids hearing, it’s an awful sound.”
The next time I saw my neighbour I asked him, “Has the cat noise deterrent worked?” He replied, “No,” they still poo in the garden.”
Maybe he should get a box made too. I will suggest this to him when I see him next time.

It sounds like the extra
It sounds like the extra large garden cat litter toilet did the trick in the end.
