The announcement was made that every British citizen was required to listen or watch Agatha Redknapp’s most important speech of her career. She stood on a podium outside number 10 Downing Street, smiling at the camera.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. I believe this speech will be…truly life changing for some of you.”
Robbie, at this point, was at school in class, and was watching the speech on the big projector in the school hall, sat beside her best friend, Beth. She, again, was admiring Agatha’s beauty, rather than paying attention to the speech. What a bore, she thought to herself. Little did she know what impact the speech would make on her entire life.
“You see, in this country, there are too many people who do not obey. I’m sure everyone will agree that we all need to feel secure. For example, if you didn’t trust me, I would not be your Prime Minister.”
Robbie fidgeted in her seat with a yawn.
“Of course, I have all of your trust. But now I need yours. Because what I am about to do next may shock some of you. It may even lose the trust of some of you. But it will represent what my government have come to agree on. It wasn’t a matter discussed in the lead up to the election, but something we believe to be necessary. Everyone, I give you Jennifer Field.”
Agatha walked off screen for a second and came back holding the Jennifer by the collar of her shirt, handcuffed and blindfolded. Robbie snapped to attention, watching Jennifer struggle under the Prime Minister’s grip.
“This woman murdered her own husband! A man I myself cared for a great deal and respected the way everyone else did! And she went and killed him,” Agatha spat “Just because she wanted some attention, or because she is evil at heart. Either way, this woman needs to be punished.”
“It wasn’t me, it was her, it was Agatha, I’m innocent,” Jennifer babbled “Somebody help-”
Before she could say another word, Agatha produced a gun seemingly from nowhere and shot Jennifer through the head.
