So vexing when you smile and turn away,
Like faith hanging from my bedroom ceiling,
So close but I’m unsure if it will stay,
Me, an old toy, wound up on this feeling.
Our Story like a bad movie version,
No filter to my filthy fetishes,
No protection from pray-tell perversion,
Love or lust I cannot tell what this is.
But our hats sit at too much a distance,
The school across town is our meeting place,
I fell hard without too much resistance,
And struck hard with a high card of hearts, ace.
But you came here, I’m glad it’s you I’ve known
I couldn’t miss you, if you’d stayed at home.
